Treatment of early stage of vulvar cancer consists of local excision of the tumour along with a margin of surrounding healthy tissue. Sometimes it is necessary to remove the whole of the vulval area along with the lymph glands in the groin area.Depending upon the biopsy result of the surgery, patient may or may not require radiation therapy after surgery. Advanced stage disease involving extensive areas of vagina, urethra, anus are treated with combination of radiation therapy and chemotherapy.
